Agawam Compressor Station

Scope of Work

Upgrades at the Agawam Compressor Station. Phase one consisted of all electrical and light mechanical for a new auxiliary building. This included:

• Site lighting
• Gear installation
• Cable tray installation
• Lightning protection
• Interior lighting
• Wiring
• Installation of a new MCC
• Demo and rebuild of an existing control building MCC
• ESD interlock system work, that consisted of supply and installation of electrical and insulated tubing to automate ten manual valves
• Installation of new battery backup system in the auxiliary building

Phase two* work included:

• Demo of electrical to an old compressor in compressor building D
• New wiring installation
• Gear installation
• Cable tray installation
• Lighting installation
• Electrical work for a new solar compressor in compressor building D

*due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this project was split into two phases
