
Tricia Ferry
Tricia Ferry is the Executive Vice President of Operations. As a second generation family business, continuing her family’s succession plan and being of service to VEC’s most valuable asset, its people, is Tricia’s passion. Throughout her VEC career, she has led culture initiatives engaging internal and external teams to come together professionally and personally, sharing in similar experiences that builds stronger teamwork. She strives to create an environment of empowerment to allow for her team to become prouder, stronger and more valuable contributors to the day to day operations at VEC.
Her background includes co-founding Women in NECA(WIN), affiliated with the National Electrical Contractors Association. WIN supports the professional development of women working in the electrical contracting (EC) industry through educational and networking events. She also served as co-chair on ELECTRI International’s Talent Initiative Committee, whose goal was to create a talent pipeline for EC. ELECTRI International funds, coordinates and monitors the electrical construction industry’s most critical research.
Community and volunteer commitments include Mahoning Valley Boards - The Regional Chamber, Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley, Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown, Advisory Member to Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries and a volunteer for the local Panera-thon. Tricia has one daughter, Madison, an Associate Chemist at Revlon who lives in NYC. Tricia is currently renovating an 1869 farmhouse with her fiancé Bruno Frate: their wedding is set for September 2021 blending their families together; Bella, Digital Marketing at Cleveland State University and Joe, Architecture Program at The Ohio State University.
